JOB POSITION:        Civil Engineer

Spartanburg Housing Authority in Spartanburg, SC is currently seeking a full-time Capital Fund Manager/Civil Engineer.  This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing capital improvement programs.  This position will also be responsible for maintaining the public housing inventory, monitoring and tracking physical needs assessment plans; working closely with maintenance staff in preventative maintenance and routine maintenance of all public housing sites. Will also be responsible for maintaining all project-related documentation and will take the lead on all project construction and development.  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required, Masters preferred.  Minimum of 5 years civil engineering and/construction or equivalent combination of experience/training; Public Housing experience preferred, but not required. Knowledge of federal/state regulatory compliance, AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project software; skilled in estimating construction activities; ability to develop specific job scope of activity with project schedule.  Salary range is $55,000 - $70
