The Housing Authority of Champaign County, a Moving to Work authority, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional for the position of Director of Housing Choice Voucher Program. Must be highly organized and dedicated. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, supervising, planning, administering 1,798 vouchers, and monitoring the daily operations of the program. Candidates must have comprehensive knowledge of HUD rules and regulations governing the housing choice voucher program.
Requirements / Qualifications:
§ Bachelor’s degree, and
§ Valid driver’s license, and
§ Three or more years at the decision-making level or directly supervising a medium-sized professional staff, or
§ Five years experience in management, preferably with a housing authority
The individual selected must complete and pass the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Executive Management Certification and HCV Housing Quality Standards Certification exams within twelve month of hire.
