Please join CLPHA’s Housing Is Initiative and our Education Working Group for a presentation from Javier Maisonet at MathTalk! Research shows that when parents and young children take time to explore, enjoy, and talk about math together, it sets the stage for positive early math experiences and helps young children view themselves as capable math learners.

MathTalk helps young children, particularly those from economically distressed communities, develop positive math identities by creating regular opportunities to discover and interact with math in their daily lives, wherever they are. Through delivery of unique resources, support, guidance, and interactive learning opportunities MathTalk helps make it easy for parents and other adults in children’s lives to regularly engage with them around math, together.

Learn more about MathTalk and how they support kids and families through mobile apps and digital products, augmented reality experiences, and community installations and events.
